Sir Greynald Quick ap Balor
Duties - The Voice of Balor controls the access of the Domains to the Emperor. The Voice moderates the Imperial Court and serves as the Emperor's personal ambassador, representing his interests when the Emperor could not make a personal appearance. He does this through Imperial Court by having representatives of each domain report on the month’s events to the court at large. The post is a prestigious and important office in the Court of Dischordia. As the most powerful political figure in the Empire (with the obvious exception of the Emperor), The Voice helps set the agenda of the Imperial Court. The purpose of The Voice is the peacemaker of the Empire, who maintains a friendly relationship between the Emperor and the common people and insures that the Kingdoms do not fall into civil war. It is The Voice's duty to bring a peaceable solution, rapidly and efficiently, when laws or force of arms failed.

Obligation (5 pt Flaw) - To be Balor’s Voice at Imperial Court and to guide the court in its matters.
Oath of the Long Road - “I swear that I shall [take upon myself the duty of The Voice of High King Balor], or lose my passion. That I shall (guide the Courts of Dischordia through High King Balor’s will in eternal etiquette) or lay down my mask. That I shall [keep the kingdoms from falling into civil war and the High King one with his ever-changing subjects] or dream no more. You and the dying stars as my witnesses, so mote it be.” Requires the oathtaker to sacrifice their tongue.
King’s Grace - High King Balor can choose not to affect the Voice, or appointed Whispers, with his presence
Whispers - The Voice can name up to two Whispers which can act in his stead if they posses the Imperial Tessen. The Whispers also aid in deciding upon who hosts court for the next month as well as preside over duels and who wishes to go to war or make peace. Once chosen a Whisper cannot be replaced except upon their death or the death/removal of the Voice who chose them. The Whispers spread the word of the Emperor to Dischordia, carrying news, proclamations, laws, and edicts. They must also swear the Oath of the Long Road and gain the Obligation of their station, but the only benefit they receive is the King’s Grace.
Baron Marcus Lilly
Duties - The Praetor is to advise the Emperor in all matters of military conflict, protecting the Emperor from concerns that were beneath him. The Praetor is responsible to gather, train, and maintain an army to protect the Empire from internal and external threats. As well the Praetor acts as the adjudicator of Imperial Law. It is the duty of the Praetor to root out the truth of transgressions against the empire and to bring this truth to the court to pass judgement. The Praetor has access to (but does not command) the Imperial Sanctum and can request aid from the Absence.

Obligation (5 pt Flaw) - To protect Dischordia and its subjects from outside threats and to know the truth of internal transgressions to judge with proper passion. To enforce and adjudicate Imperial Law.
Oath of the Long Road - “I swear that I shall [take upon myself the duty of The Praetor of Dischordia], or lose my passion. That I shall (adjudicate Imperial Law and seek the truth in all matters) or lay down my sword. That I shall [advise the High King in all military matters and protect the kingdom from invading forces or internal rebellion] or dream no more. You and the Black Sun as my witnesses, so mote it be.” Requires the oathtaker to sacrifice their eye

Quaesitors - The Praetor can name up to two Quaesitors which can act in his stead if they posses the Mirror of Truth. The Quaesitors usually do the grunt work for the Praetor (question suspects, investigate crime scenes, adjudicate lesser disputes, etc.), but are also capable of advising on Imperial Law. Once chosen a Quaesitor cannot be replaced except upon their death or the death/removal of the Praetor who chose them. A Praetor will be judged by the actions of his Quaesitors. They must also swear the Oath of the Long Road and gain the Obligation of their station, but the only benefit they receive is the King’s Grace.
Sir Dante of Imperial Bermuda
Duties - The Hierophant advises the Emperor in all matters of the occult, as well as keeping the Emperor informed about all magical events in the Empire. The Hierophant is in charge of the use of magic in Dischordia and is responsible for the prevention of prohibited magics such as Abyss Mysticism, Necromancy, Nephandic rites, and Dark Arts. The Hierophant has access to the Imperial Arcane Academy and its participants to use as his personal study and research facility.

Obligation (5 pt Flaw) - To protect Dischordia and its subjects from all magical threats and to know what those threats are.
Oath of the Long Road - “I swear that I shall [take upon myself the duty of The Hierophant of Dischordia], or lose my passion. That I shall (advise the High King in all matters of occult and magic) or lay down my staff. That I shall [root out the use of forbidden magics and magical threats to Dischordia] or dream no more. You and the Red Moon as my witnesses, so mote it be.” The oathtaker is required to sacrifice essence.
King’s Grace - High King Balor can choose not to affect the Hierophant, or appointed Acolytes, with his presence
Acolytes - The Hierophant can name up to two Acolytes which can act in his stead if they posses the Goggles of Seeing. Acolytes gather knowledge for the Hierophant to examine and alert him to new and unknown magical presences, items, or disturbances in Dischordia. It is their duty to ferret out the magical capabilities of the dignitaries, visiting and native. Once chosen an Acolyte cannot be replaced except upon their death or the death/removal of the Hierophant who chose them. They must also swear the Oath of the Long Road and gain the Obligation of their station, but the only benefit they receive is the King’s Grace.
